Alexandre “BiatchPeople” Luneau is a French high stakes professional, that specializes in draw games.
Alex's poker beginnings were very modest since he started with a $5 deposit at Full Tilt Poker in 2007. It turned out to be the best $5 investment of Luneau’s life as he slowly increased his bankroll while studying lots of strategy. He read books, sought help from other players, and watched videos of pro players to gain extra perspective on the game.
A lot of Luneau’s early play was focused on heads-up NLHE cash games, and he fared quite well here after reaching $10k in winnings by November of 2008. However, his winnings took a sharp downturn in March of 2009 when he hit a career low of -$62k. But from here, it’s been all smiles for Luneau as his winnings hit $100k in the summer of 2009, and they skyrocketed a year later when Luneau’s winnings were up to $534k by August of 2010.
Alex and fellow French Draw Specialist Sebastien "Seb86" Sabic are good friends and flatmates in London. Alex says that Seb has helped him improve his Draw game a lot.
In addition to his coaching and playing exploits, Luneau is also very active when it comes to making radio appearances and doing interviews. Not only does he love teaching poker strategy to the players he coaches, but Luneau also likes talking about it to the media.
