Sebastien "Seb86" Sabic is a French online poker pro who’s best known for his meteoric rise on Full Tilt Poker. At the beginning of 2011, when HighStakesDB first began tracking his results, Seb86 earned over $400k from January to March. But as impressive as this was, he turned even more heads from March to May when he added another $680k to his winnings. Currently, Seb86 has made over $1.15 million while grinding the $25/$50 PLO tables at Full Tilt.
Aside from his play on Full Tilt Poker, Seb86 also plays on PokerStars under the same screen name. In fact, he was once a Team PokerStars Online member since he played some of the biggest mixed games here.
Sebastian did start out as a NLHE player at first, but he didn't do well at all at first, in fact, he thought he was horrible at it. In order to become a better NHLE and PLO player, he bought Brunson's book, "Super System 2" read the chapters about it, but it didn't help to improve Sabic's game at all. So he read the chapter on Triple Draw, got down to business, ran like Usain Bolt and fell in love with the game. He moved up in stakes quickly online. Felt the urge to try his luck live in Vegas, went there only do discover that he had to learn several other games as well, since Triple draw is usually only played in mixed games at casinos. This forced him to get better at NLHE and PLO too, because it was tiring to get stacked every time those games came around.
