David "MR B 2 U SON" Benyamine is a professional poker player from France. David mainly focuses on PLO.
Another regular at Full Tilt’s nosebleed tables, David Benyamine’s name sees a lot of buzz in the poker community lately, mainly on account of the horrific losing streaks he’s been having.
Benyamine was born in 1972 in Paris, France, and he was well on track to becoming a successful tennis professional, until a shoulder injury forced him to change verts. He began playing poker at the age of 12, and he’s been doing it on an ever bigger level since.
He is currently the owner of a WSOP bracelet, which he won in 2008, in the $10,000 Omaha Hi/Low event. That win earned him a $535,687 prize. He finished in the money in 8 WSOP events altogether, his highest Main Event finish being 102nd place which he obtained in 2009. Benyamine was more successful in the WPT. He reached the final table no fewer than 3 times there. He also has a WPT title which he secured in 2003, in the Grand Prix de Paris. He’s also won the WPT Battle of Champions II invitational event. Benyamine has made over $3 million from the live tournament circuit.
