Americas CardRoom fans will soon be chasing $25million in the online poker room’s biggest ever tournament series to date, with the Progressive Knock Out Super Series (PKOSS) kicking off with a $5million GTD Venom tournament this Friday!

It’s not only the series that is set to smash ACR records, but the $5million GTD Venom PKO is itself the biggest progressive knockout tourney in online poker.
ACR Venom promises huge head-hunting prizes
The massive prizefund will see the bounties reach four and even five-figures as the tournament progresses, which means the action will be coming thick and fast.
Satellites have been running for the past couple of weeks, and the good news is that they’ll continue until the end of the opening day 1D flight of the event proper.
The Venom Fever satellite extravaganza has 658 guaranteed seats up for grabs, each worth $2650, the price of a seat for the Venom whose Day 1A will be this Friday, April 30th.
Starting at just $32, a satellite seat could see you lifting the ultimate ACR title, with the money up top expected to yet again exceed $1million, Porknomar scooping the last Venom title in February.
The last time ACR ran the Venom as a PKO in October 2020, the $5M guarantee was smashed with a final prizepool of $6,777,500.
This time around there are again four separate Day 1 options and the rest of the Venom PKO schedule is listed below:
-
Day 1A: Friday, April 30th
-
Day 1B: Sunday, May 2nd
-
Day 1C: Friday, May 7th
-
Day 1D: Sunday, May 9th
-
Day 2: Monday, May 10th
-
Day 3: Tuesday, May 11th
-
*Final Table: Wednesday, May 12th
$25million PKOSS (Progressive Knock Out Super Series)
Of course, the Venom is only the start of what promises to be an amazing PKOSS (Progressive Knock Out Super Series), the bounty version of ACR’s phenomenally popular OSS, BOSS and MOSS trilogy.
Running from May 9th until May 24th, the PKOSS is jam-packed with NLHE and PLO tournaments, the knockout versions a huge favourite with the players.
The two full weeks’ worth of action will see $25million in guaranteed prize pools, and aside from the Venom, there will be 3 Main Events and 3 Multi-Flight tourneys
The first of these is just a week away, the Kick-off Main Event a $55 buy-in, $500k GTD PKO ME, followed by Main Event 1 the following weekend, which boasts a $1million guarantee from a $630 buy-in.
There’s definitely something for everyone, with all eyes on the first of the Multi-Flight tournaments, boasting a monster $2,500,000 GTD ($630 buy-in).
For those whose pockets are not so deep (and who haven’t managed to sattie their way in of course) there are two major alternatives.
The $1,000,000 GTD ($215 buy-in) Multi-Flight #2 *PKO and the $250,000 GTD ($16.50 buy-in) all of them with 16 starting flights, enough to suit timetable and lifestyle!
