After leaving Team PokerStars earlier this year to protest the changes made to VIP program, Isaac "philivey2694" Haxton seems to be doing just fine.
Haxton took down yesterday the €25,500 buy-in Single Day High Roller tournament at EPT Prague. A total of 69 players registered for the tournament and after 14 re-entries were made, the total prize pool showed just over €2 million.
As the title of the event suggested, it ended up taking only 14 hours to play down to the winner with each blind level lasting for 30 minutes. In the final hand of the tournament, Haxton's pocket eights held up against Julian Stuer's
.
According to the PokerStars Blog, this was the first high-roller title for Haxton, who has now nearly $13 million in total live tournament earnings.
