The 2016 World Poker Tour Five Diamond attracted some of the biggest names in poker last weekend to Bellagio, thanks to a series of high roller tournaments organized by the casino.
While Jason Koon dominated the two $25,000 buy-in events over the weekend, there was also a bigger, $100,000 buy-in Super High Roller title up for grabs.
A total of 38 entries were made in the $100k Super High Roller event and only the top 6 players received money. The tournament ended in a chop between Tom "kingsofcards" Marchese and Jan-Eric Scwippert. Thanks to the chop, both players walked away with seven-figure paydays.
Marchese now boasts over $15,5 million in live tournament earnings and moved up to 10th place on the all time USA money List. The New Jersey pro has been killing the high-roller tournaments for the last few years and most of his winnings have came from events with buy-in of $25,000 or more.
Players like Erik Seidel and Talal "raidalot" Shakerchi also cashed, see the final results from below:
-
Jan-Eric Scwippert $1,439,274

Talal Shakerchi $521,360
