Brian Hastings reveals in his new blog that he will be moving on from poker as a full time job and focus improving his newly founded company.
While Hastings didn't disclose much about his new company, it appears to be a some kind of an tea company:
"The time is now for me to shift my focus to my new company – UniTea (@uniteafl on Twitter and Instagram). More details on that in a blog to come. I feel reborn and I can’t wait for this new journey. If you didn’t notice, UniTea is a pun on unity, something we are in dire need of these days.", Hastings writes.
Hastings also goes through some of the biggest scandals he has been involved during his time as a full-time poker player. These include some multi-accounting cases and the biggest single-day win in the history of online poker.
Hastings is not the first high-stakes player to move his focus away from poker. For example, poker brothers Di "Urindanger" Dang and Hac "trex313" Dang opened up a restaurant called Chasin’ Tails in their home state of Virginia.
