Master Classics of Poker: Ole Schemion Wins €25K Super High Roller

The Master Classics of Poker is currently underway in Holland's capital of Amsterdam. It is the biggest annual tournament festival on Dutch soil and this year the schedule featured also a €25,000 buy-in tournament.

It was the biggest buy-in tournament ever held in Netherlands and a total of 13 players participated. The tournament was eventually won by Ole "wizowizo" Schemion, who also won the MCOP Main Event in 2012 for over €286,000. This time around, Schemion earned just over €160,000 for his super high roller win. The German high-stakes pro has now $11,5 million in total live tournament earnings.

According to Pokernews, Frank Williams, also a German high-stakes player, finished runner-up to his countryman Schemion. In the final hand, he made the all-in move holding ace-jack but Schemion had pocket kings and he quickly called Williams' all-in shove, and ended up taking down the pot and the title.

1. Ole Schemion €160.875
2. Frank Williams €96.525
3. Charlie Carrel €64.350

The Master Classics of Poker €4,250 buy-in Main Event is currently underway and the surviving players will compete for three more days from Nov. 23 to Nov. 25 until a winner is crowned.
