Trueteller Wins $184k at PLO 7 8-Game

There was plenty of solid high stakes action at PokerStars yesterday, with big games taking place at both the $1k/$2k 8-Game and $100/$200 PLO tables. The biggest winner of the day was Russian pro Timofey "Trueteller" Kuzntesov who profited at both games.

Truetellers winning day started at the 8-Game tables where he won $41.5k from a two hour heads-up session early yesterday evening against Ben "Sauce123" Sulsky.

After an hour and a half absence from the tables, Kuznetsov came back to play WRUUUUM heads-up at the $100/$200 PLO tables. The pair played for three hours and twenty minutes, first at two tables, then three. Trueteller won at three of the tables, WRUUUUM two - although Trueteller bagged by far the bigger wins, taking table totals of $96.6k, $71.5k and $14.2k, while WRUUUUM won less than $40k across his two winning tables, leaving Trueteller a $142.5k winner.

The match was actually even after two hours play and it wasn't until the final 90 minutes that Trueteller pulled away from his opponent, winning most of the matches biggest pots. After this win, Trueteller quit for the evening with a profit of $184,078 for the day.

The biggest pot of the day took place at the ongoing $1k/$2k 8-Game tables where the likes of Viktor "Isildur1" Blom, Ben "Sauce123" Sulsky, Mikael "ChaoRen160" Thuritz, Matt "MUSTAFABET" Ashton, Elior "Crazy Elior" Sion, Chun Lei "SamRostan" Zhou, Andrey "Kroko-dill" Zaichenko, Trueteller, and Alex "BiatchPeople" Luneau all played their share of hands in matches which ran throughout the day.

The pot in question took place yesterday morning at table Wei between ChaoRen160 and Kroko-dill

A bit unlucky for Kroko-dill who c-bets his AAxx on a 7 K 7 flop, only to see ChaoRen160 holding K7xx for a flopped full house - $91k pot

Despite losing the biggest pot of the day, Kroko-dill also ended the day with a six-figure win after two 8-Game wins. He won $35.8k in the morning session, and $71k from a three hour evening session to end the day up $106.9k.

Crazy Elior also won at the same two 8-Game tables, ended the day third on the leaderboard with s $68.6k profit. Fourth place went to Russian NLHE reg Katya_18 who won $30.6k after a full afternoon at the $50/$100 tables.

The action has already been fierce this morning, and at the point of writing, Isildur1 is up over $100k playing at the $400/$800 8-Game and $100/$200 PLO tables. Come back tomorrow to find out the Swedish superstar can hold his form
