Weekly Highstakes Update: Alexandre "BiatchPeople" Luneau Wins $381k
The action over at PokerStars high stakes tables has been pretty decent over the last week or so. Not only have we seen Isildur1 enjoying some good (and bad) days, but we've had good matches at the 8-Game, PLO, Triple Draw, and NLHE tables over the past seven days. The biggest winner by some margin was French pro Alex "BiatchPeople" Luneau, who ended the week up $381,167.
Luneau topped the daily leaderboard three times in the last week, starting with a $48.7k win on Monday 7th November. He made his money on Monday solely from the 8-Game tables where he played stakes ranging from $100/$200 up to $1k/$2k, winning at six of the seven tables he played at. Luneau was on top once again in Wednesday's games where he made his biggest score of the week, once again at the 8-Game tables. From a single session at the $1k/$2k tables Luneau won $211k after five hours playing against the likes of Alexander "joiso" Kostritsn, St1ckman, Viktor "Isildur1" Blom, Sami "Lrslzk" Kelopuro, Matt "MUSTAFABET" Ashton, Patrik "Fake Love888", and Andrey "Kroko-dill" Zaichenko. After a $19k win on Thursday, Luneau was back on top of the daily leaderboard for Friday where he once again came out on top during a $1k/$2k 8-Game match. He won $72.6k from an hours play alongside Viktor "Isildur1" Blom, Kroko-dill and joiso. You can read more about his win here
After a $17.5k loss on Saturday, Luneau ended the week well, placing third on Sunday's leaderboard after yet another successful outing at the $1k/$2k 8-Game tables. He won $46.9k from four hours play yesterday evening in a 6max game.
The biggest PLO winner of the week was Swedish pro BERRI SWEET who ended the week up $134,278, with Sami "Lrslzk" Kelopuro, Daniel "w00ki3z." Cates, Ravenswood13, and donthnrmepls also ending the week with six-figure profits.
