Alex "BiatchPeople" Luneau Tops Leaderboard Again with $211k Win

The action over at PokerStars appears to be hotting up with some big 8-Game, FLO8, PLO, and NLHE games taking place with a ton of players getting in on the action. The biggest winner from yesterday's games (for the second time this week) was French pro Alex "BiatchPeople" Luneau, who ended the day up $211,077.

Luneau's profit all came from a single afternoon/early evening near five hour session at the $1k/$2k 8-Game tables where he played against the likes of Alexander "joiso" Kostritsn, St1ckman, Viktor "Isildur1" Blom, Sami "Lrslzk" Kelopuro, Matt "MUSTAFABET" Ashton, Patrik "Fake Love888", and Andrey "Kroko-dill" Zaichenko.

Luneau was by far and away the biggest winner from the session, with only Lrslzk ($39k) and Kroko-dill ($38k) turning a profit at the table. Lrslzk actually ended up as the day's 3rd biggest winner, making a total profit for the day of $93.2k after winning $56.6k against Rui "PepperoniF" Cao heads-up at the $100/$200 PLO tables yesterday afternoon. Kroko-dill managed fourth on the daily leaderboard with just his $38.5k $1k/$2k 8-Game win good enough for a top spot on the list of big winners.

The biggest pot of the day also came from these session and was won by Isildur1:

A dream flop for Isildur1 after some heavy betting pre-flop. The Swedish pro makes top two pair along with the nut-flush draw on the flop and gets it in very good against MUSTAFABET's AAQ8. Isildur1 wins both runs of the board to take this $120.6k pot

This pot marked the start of a great comeback for Isildur1, who up until shortly before this pot was down $190k for the day after losing at the 2-7 TD and PLO tables, as well as losing big in this $1k/$2k session. Although he ended up losing $59k in this session and then losing a little more later in the night at the $50/$100 PLO tables, he managed to turn his session in to a +$18k win after winning $135.6k against Ravenswood13 in a 37 minute session at the $1k/$2k FLO8 tables. As this session started shortly after midnight it won't be reflected in our results page until tomorrow.

Before this loss it had been a good couple of days for Ravenswood13 as he ended yesterday second on the daily leaderboard with a $152.9k profit, winning it all at the $1k/$2k FLO8 tables after a successful heads-up match against Patrik "Fake Love888" Antonius.
