Isildur1 Tops Tuesdays Winners at PokerStars
It may have been a huge day for poker yesterday with the WSOP Main Event finally playing down to a winner, but it wasn't such a big day at PokerStars high stakes tables, with Viktor "Isildur1" Blom claiming the top spot on the high stakes cash games leaderboard with a modest $43.7k profit.
Isildur1 played at the 8-game tables for five hours and forty minutes yesterday afternoon/early evening, putting in 542 hands to win his money, playing at the $200/$400 tables for most of his session, before upgrading to a $400/$800 table for the last hour of his day. Blom made a profit at both limits yesterday.
Across the afternoon Blom played at five tables in total, winning at four and dropping a mere $54 at the other. During his time at the tables he encountered come fierce competion playing alongside the likes of Alexander "joiso" Kostritsyn, Ben "Sauce123" Sulsky, Patrik "Fake Love888" Antonius, Elior "Crazy Elior" Sion, Sami "Lrslzk" Kelopuro, as well as the not quite so fearsome Kroko-dill and bodamos.
Blom earned $27.3k at the $200/$400 tables, and $16.4k from his one $400/$800 table. His biggest pot of the day also came from this session:
Isildur1 earns a full double up when he turns the nut-straight and is put all in by Fake Love888 who has the bottom end of the straight - $24.4k pot
Second on the daily leaderboard with a $33.9k profit is borntotilt who won his money from 114 hands at the $50/$100 NLHE 6max tables where he playes against Kanu7, VeGeTTo89, and fish2013.
Third and fourth went to a couple of Isildur1's rivals from the mixed-games - joiso came in third with a $22.3k profit, followed by Sauce123 who won $16.7k. joiso actually took down the day's biggest pot:
joiso is in prime position with this three-way all-in preflop with AAxx against Sauce's KKxx and bodamos's AKxx. The aces hold and joiso ships this $33.1k pot
