Trueteller Wins $134k in Weekend's Mixed Games

After losing over $220k in the first 3/4 of the week, Timofey "Trueteller" Kuznetsov made a comeback of sorts this weekend, topping the daily highstakes leaderboard at PokerStars on both Saturday and Sunday for a combined profit of $134.6k.

On Saturday he ended a slow day for highstakes with a $38.4k win, enough to put him ahead of the likes of Ilari "Ilari FIN" Sahamies (+$32.3k) and AverageGreg (+$32.2k), with over $36k coming from the 8-Game tables.

His win yesterday was a little more impressive as he ended the day up $96.2k after a win at $1k/$2k 8-Game table Altair in 76 minutes post-midnight session where he played against Sami "Lrslzk" Kelopuro, Dan "w00ki3z." Cates, and Ilari "Ilari FIN" Sahamies. Kuznetsov was the table's only winner.

He also took down what turned out to be the day's biggest pot:

Standard cooler for Lrslzk in a $250/$500 NLHE round as he gets it all-in pre-flop with QQ against Trueteller's AA. A tad unfortunate for Trueteller that Lrslzk was by far the shortest stack at the table - $39.9k pot
