Patrik Antonius Yesterday's Biggest Winner After FLO8 Clashes With Sauce123
It's been a while since Finnish legend Patrik "Fake Love888" Antonius has topped PokerStars daily leaderboard but he was back yesterday with a $93.4k win after some FLO8 battles with Ben "Sauce123" Sulsky.
Online's winningest ever player has been largely absent from the virtual felt over the last couple of years and went on record to say that there was little point playing in the big-bet games online unless you're willing to use 3rd party software - something Antonius has never done - saying “If you don’t use poker software it’s not a fair game anymore in Hold’em and Omaha". However, he did say that he still enjoys the mixed and limit games, where software is of far less use.
True to his word, when Antonius has dabbled online it has been in the mixed or limit games, and it was the Limit Omaha Hi/Lo games where he found his edge yesterday, playing heads-up against Ben "Sauce123" Sulsky.
Antonius day started with a bang as he won $109.9k in just twenty minutes in a post lunch-time session. However, when the pair met again, once again at the $1k/$2k tables a couple of hours later, Sauce won back $72k in under 50 minutes.
Antonius then lost another $14k at the $400/$800 6max 8-Game tables before a final heads-up match at the FLO8 tables against Sulsky where he played an up and down three hour game, first winning $64k before losing that all back plus interest, and finally hitting another big upswing to end the session up $70k, and the day up $93.4k.
Second on the daily leaderboard is Dan "w00kiez." Cates who enjoyed his second day at number two on the trot after winning $69.4k at the 8-game and NLHE tables. Most of his profit came from his first sesion of the day where he won $49.4k from 1hr 40mins at the $200/$400 8-Game tables, with the rest coming from a number of afternoon sessions at the $50/$100 and $100/$200 NLHE tables.
The biggest NLHE of the day, 19Dan86 who won $67.9k from 2 tabling $100/$200 6max for a little over three hours in the early afternoon. He also won the day's biggest pot:
Unlucky for 1novker as his pocket Aces are cracked by 19Dan86's QQ as he makes top set on the flop - $63.2k pot

MMasherdog rounded off the top four with a $37.5k profit from the $50/$100 and $100/$200 NLHE tables, with over $31k coming from the higher limits.
