According to a recent report on somuchpoker.com, the second edition of The Triton Super High Roller Series will make its return in Manila next month.
The first edition of the festival featured a whopping US$200,000 buy-in tournament, that was eventually won by who else than Fedor "CrownUpGuy" Holz. This time around the series will feature a HK$200,000 6-max Warm-Up tourney (US$25,700) followed up by a HK$500,000 buy-in 8-max Main Event (US$64,400). Both events will allow participants an unlimited number of rebuys.
The festival has been scheduled to play from November 3 to November 7th in Manila and will be hosted in the Poker King Club Venue at Solaire Casino Resort.
Poker King Club's president, Winfred Yu, has already confirmed the attendance of several members of the poker elite: John Juanda, Daniel "jungleman12" Cates, and even Tom "durrrr" Dwan, who has been the subject of numerous wild rumors after disappearing from the poker media spotlight in the aftermath of poker's Black Friday.
In addition, Dwan's challenge with Cates has been the subject of much debate, so his possible reunion with Jungleman in this event would make up for an interesting story to say the least.
