Big Tournament Win for November Niner Gordon Vayo

November Niner Gordon Vayo took down yesterday the 2016 River Poker Series $2,500 buy-in, $2.5 million guaranteed main event at the WinStar Casino in Oklahoma for $587,120.

Vayo has already secured $1 million for reaching the 2016 World Series of Poker Main Event final table, but that didn't stop him for going after another big title, while waiting for the Main Event final resume in November.

According to Pokernews.com, Vayo had a commanding chip lead with about half of the chips in play, when the final five players made a deal. The deal saw Vayo take home $587,120, Ben Ector $344,826 for 2nd place, Dean Bobel $225,048 for 3rd, Layne Flack $225,190 for 4th and Grant Hinkle $207,669 for 5th place.

After the final five players had all secured a six-figure payday, they only played for the bracelet, which eventually went to Grant Hinkle.
