Connor "blanconegro" Drinan has been on a hot streak lately and he has managed to accumulate nearly $1 million in tournament winnings in the last week alone.
Last Sunday, Drinan took down the €10K High Roller at EPT Barcelona for nearly $960,000, and yesterday he followed up with a WCOOP title.
Drinan won the 2016 WCOOP Event #5, a $320 buy-in NLO Hi/Lo 6-Max tournament. A total of 500 players registered for the event, creating a total prize pool of $150,000. Drinan earned $26,6K for his win after knocking out all five of his opponents at the final table.
The 2016 WCOOP will conclude on September 26 with the $5,200 buy-in Main Event. However, before that there will be many other interesting events, including a $102,000 buy-in Super High Roller on September 11, which has a $2 million guarantee.
