Big Wins for Ike "philivey2694" Haxton & Viktor "Isildur1" Blom
Yesterday was the biggest day at PokerStars highstakes tables for quite some time and railbirds were treated to some great PLO and 8-Game action, resulting in two big scores as Ike "philivey2694" Haxton won $196,432 and Viktor "Isildur1" Blom won $111,570.
Haxton, once again, made his big score playing heads-up at the $100/$200 PLO tables against Daniel "d2themfi" Isaacon. Haxton is currently on a hot streak against Isaacson and dominated the 3.5 hour match. Apart from the first few minutes when d2themfi took a brief $20k lead, it was all Haxton as he won pot after pot during the two-tabling 571 hand encounter.
Haxton also took down the biggest pot of the day during the match:
Haxton ends up winning this $65.2k pot with just a pair of Jacks after both players miss their draws

The other six-figure winner of the day, Isildur1, took a slightly longer route to his $111.6k win, putting in a huge 3,074 hands across the day. Blom lost a little in a post midnight session playing Triple Draw and $50/$100 PLO, before leaving for the night. He was back at the tables shortly after 9am server time, where he played non-stop for over 12 hours almost exclusively at the $200/$400 and $400/$800 8-Game tables. He did play one table of $200/$400 2-7 Triple Draw back against captaincube who had taken Blom for over $5k in the afroementioned post-midnight match. This time out, however, Isildur1 got the better of his opponent, winning $35.7k in a four hour heads-up battle.
Blom's biggest table win of $52.2k came from a 3.5 hour stint at $400/$800 8-Game table Periphas II where he played alongside Daniel "w00ki3z." Cates, Chun Lei "SamRostan" Zhou, and Alexander "joiso" Kostritsyn.
Kostritsyn had enjoyed three straight days as PokerStars biggest highstakes winner before yesterday, but gave back the majority of his three-day profit in yesterday's games where he lost over $130k.
Although there were no more 6-figure winners yesterday, SamRostan came close, making a $93.2k profit after a long day at the 8-Game tables.
Ben "Sauce123" Sulsky enjoyed another win yesterday and has now more than written off a six-figure loss from last week after earning $70.6k, again at the $200/$400 and $400/$800 8-Game tables in just over 1k hands.
