$3,000,000 Guaranteed in 888's Latest 2016 Super XL Series

888poker's increasingly popular "XL Series" will be returning for another run next month, guaranteeing players an increased minimum prizepool of $3,000,000 across the series. Like its predecessors, the series will offer a Main, Mini and Turbo version of each tournament.

This XL Series will feature 40 events between May 14th and 22nd, including a $1,050 entry Main Event on Sunday May 22nd with a whopping $1,000,000 guarantee.

The series will launch with the $88,888 Crazy 8 Super XL Kickoff, an event that will have the same structure and concept as Event #54: $888 Crazy Eights 8-Handed No-Limit Hold'em on the 2016 World Series of Poker Main Event schedule.What's more, the winner of the online event will win a seat into that same WSOP tournament. In the online version the entry will be $888 the play 8-handed with an $88,888 prizepool.

Formats include turbo, turbo snap (888's version of rush/zoom poker), deep stack, 6 max, 8 max, rebuy + add-on, quarterback (where you can buy a quarter of your chips back for quarter of the entry fee during the registration period); and variants include NLHE and Omaha.

  • Event #7: $200,000 Whale
  • Event #10: $15,000 Omaha
  • Event #15: $400,000 High Roller
  • Event #18: $30,000 8-Max

  • Event #32: $50,000 6-Max.
