RaulGonzales Wins $100k in Mixed Games
The biggest winner from yesterday's nosebleed games at PokerStars was German pro RaulGonzales, who won $100.5k after playing at the $400/$800 8-Game tables.
RaulGonzales played for 4.5 hours in total yesterday evening in three separate tables sessions and all heads-up against flong78.
Their first battle lasted for 542 hands played over three hours, resulting in a $54.6k win for the German pro. For the first two hours honours were pretty much even, with RaulGonzales only going into meaningful profit during the finalhour of the session.
After a half hour break they played for another half an hour, with RG adding another $15k to his profit before switching back to their original table for the final session of just over an hour, where RaulGonzales added another $30.5k to his bankroll.
There were no other six-figure winners yesterday, with second place on the daily leaderboard going to Ben "Sauce123" Sulsky who ended the day up $46.2k, with $43.5k coming from a two hour re-match at the $1k/$2k 8-Game tables against Alexander "joiso" Kostritsyn. Sauce had to overcome a $70k deficit during the match before finishing on top. However, after joiso took over $164k from him a couple of days ago, Sulsky still has some catching up to do before he's on level terms with the Russian mixed-game specialist.
