Alexander "joiso" Kostritsyn Wins $341k in Morning of Mixed Games
After a bit of a blip this week where he dropped around $450k, Alexander "joiso" Kostritsyn has recovered to show a profit of just under $200k for the past seven days after winning $340.9k in this morning's high stakes mixed-games over at PokerStars.
Joiso's success came from a 6 hour session at the $1k/$2k 8-Game tables in the early hours of this morning where he played against Viktor "Isildur1" Blom, Timofey "Trueteller" Kuznetsov, and (briefly) Mike "gordo16" Gorodinsky. From the seven tables played, Kostritsyn only lost at one, and that was only for $9k, whereas he won healthy five-figure sums at his winning tables. In particular he did well in his two table session between 5am-6.30pm where he won $82k and $83.7k respectively. During this time, most of joiso's profits came from Trueteller, who had been hovering around even until around 5am when he lost a quick $135k, leaving the table with a $151.8k deficit for the morning.
Isildur1 took the brunt of the losses as he dropped $1/4m at the 8-Game tables this morning, including over $80k in the 90 minutes after Trueteller left the tables. He was also on the wrong end of the morning's biggest pot:
Isildur1 bumps the pot up pre-flop and is happy to get it all in on the flop. Unluckily for him, joiso flops a flush draw and a gutshot straight draw. On the first run of the turn and river he makes a flush, and on the second run he rivers a straight to take this $117.2k pot

After this morning's losses, Isildur1 is now back in the red after his near $1/2m win this time last week after a series of losses in the mixed games, coupled with a $40k loss later this morning at the 2-7 TD tables.
