Mikael "ChaoRen160" Thuritz Wins $158k at $50/$100 PLO

Swedish online legend Mikael "ChaoRen160" Thuritz bagged an impressive $158k haul at PokerStars $50/$100 PLO tables yesterday after an 8.5 hour heads-up session against TheFish77.

The pair first met around breakfast time yesterday, and played through (with a couple of hour breaks) until late afternoon, racking up an impressive 2,343 hands of play.

Apart from going down around $30k during the first half an hour or so of the match, Thuritz led the match throughout, ended up five-figures on 8 of the 9 tables they played during the marathon session - and only losing a four-figure sum at the other table.
