Ben "Sauce1234" Sulsky's 5 Biggest Pots
Viktor "Isildur1" Blom was on the wrong end of 4 out of Sauce1234's 5 biggest pots of all-time - and they all came from a single session of PLO back in May 2013 at Full Tilt
Ben "Sauce1234" Sulsky is one of the most feared big bet players in the world today. A master at both NLHE and PLO (especially heads-up), he is often rated as one of the best in the world by his peers. It won't come as any surprise to our readers that his biggest pots come mainly from his heads-up encounters at the PLO tables with Viktor "Isildur1" Blom. In 2013 the pair played some epic $400/$800 with ante heads-up games at Full Tilt which often resulted in massive wins for one or the other player. Out of these games came 4 of Sulsky's biggest ever online pots - which can you see in full below:
5. $350,034, 8th May 2013 vs Isildur1, $400/$800 PLO
Not only were 4 of Sauce's biggest pots all against Isildur1, but they were all, in fact, from the same session. May 8th 2013 saw one of the more epic sessions of PLO in recent memory. Starting off at $300/$600 PLO before graduating to $400/$800, Sauce racked up a seven-figure lead before being pinned back to even by Isildur1, only to go on a huge tear to end the session up a whopping $1.37m.
This was Sulsky's 4th biggest pot from the session. Sauce flops top two pair but remains cautious on a draw heavy board, merely check calling Isildur1's bets on the flop and turn. The US pro hits the jackpot on the river as he makes a full house and this time he checks to induce a bet from Isildur1. Blom obliges and Sauce is able to go over the top for an additional $40k - a bet Isildur1 is duty-bound to call with any sort of hand. Unfortunately he mucks so we can't see exactly how much of a cooler this hand was.

4. $357,172, 8th May 2013 vs Isildur1, $400/$800 PLO
Isildur1 flops the high straight and finds himself check-raised by Sauce who is holding two blockers to the straight (which Isildur1 had actually already made), and a flush draw. Isildur1 opts to just call and find himself behind on the turn as the flush completes. Nevertheless as Sauce is happy to check back his option on both the turn and river, Isildur1 continues to bet out and is called all-in on the river by Sauce, who's flush trumps Isildur1's broadway straight.

3. $357,592, 8th May 2013 vs Isildur1, $400/$800 PLO
Just 20 minutes prior to the pot above, Sauce took down his 3rd biggest ever pot. With nearly $46k in the pot pre-flop it was already shaping up to be a biggie, but when Isildur1 flopped top two pair against Sauce's flopped top set it was always going to be a monster. All the money went in pre-flop and Isildur1 found himself drawing extremely thin. On the first run of the turn and river, Isildur1 actually turned a flush draw and he turned a straight draw on the second run. However, neither draw completed and the full pot went to Sauce.

2. $394,057, 2nd September 2013 vs luvtheWNBA, $400/$800 NLHE
In the only non-PLO, non-Isildur1 related entry, Sauce picks up a huge pot from one of the big $400/$800 NLHE ring games which ran around businessman Paul "MalACEsia" Phua. Playing against only Ike "luvtheWNBA" Haxton after the flop, Sauce is able to stay in the hand relatively cheaply after flopping a K high flush draw. As in one of the earlier pots against Isildur1, Sauce stays passive on the river after hitting his flush and is able to check-raise all-in. He gets the call and ships the pot.

1. $400,403, 8th May 2013 vs Isildur1, $400/$800 PLO
Sauce1234's biggest ever pot came late on during the big $400/$800 PLO marathon with Isildur1, and it's something of a cooler for Blom as both players flop a set. Unfortunately for the Swedish pro his bottom set is trumped by his opponent's flopped top set.
