Crazy Elior on Top Again as Isildur1 Returns
Elior "Crazy Elior" Sion enjoyed his second successive day atop PokerStars highstakes leaderboard after his late night FLO8 win
The major action at the highstakes tables yesterday took place at the Limit Omaha Hi/Lo tables with Crazy Elior ending as the day's biggest winner for the second successive day.
The big news, from the fans perspective, however, was the return of Viktor "Isildur1" Blom who's absence from the high stakes tables for over a week had lead to some rather over-the-top suggestions that the Swedish pro had either gone broke or, even more preposterously, retired from online poker after his recent downswing.
Of course this was never going to be the case, although this morning he'll probably wish he'd stayed away for at least another day as his first outing in 8 days didn't go to well as he ended up down $182k.
As previously mentioned, it was at the the FLO8 tables that most of the action took place, with the biggest session taking place late last night and early this morning featuring Isildur1, Crazy Elior, Ilari FIN, and Colisea. The 3.5 hour match ended with Crazy Elior winning $138.3k and Ilari FIN winning $55k. Isildur1 dropped $64k although it was Colisea who was the biggest loser at this table as he ended it down over $103k.
However, Colisea did enjoy a profitable FLO8 session heads-up against Isildur1 which ran at the same time as his losing session, where he beat the Swedish pro out of $51k. Colisea had also won $72k earlier in the day playing HORSE heads-up against Crazy Elior, so in fact ended the day with a $32.5k profit.
