$300k PLO Session for Sami "Lrslzk" Kelopuro

Isildur1 had more Triple Draw and PLO success yesterday as his hot streak continues

Back in the mid-late 00's, a young Sami "Lrslzk/LarsLuzak" Kelopuro was one of the biggest online nosebleed winners in the world, racking up millions at the NLHE tables at both the US and Euro sites. However, after some heavy PLO losses during the final years of the decade, the young Finnish pro kept a much lower profile (and lower stakes) for the next few years.

However, of late Kelopuro has been a much more regular visitor at PokerStars high stakes PLO tables, and he seems to be much more capable of mixing it with the best these days. His most recent outing which ran from last night into the early hours of this morning proved a profitable one as he left the tables up $296.9k.

Lrslzk played from around 9.30pm last night, through until 2am this morning. All of the games he played in prior to midnight were at the $50/$100 tables where he won $118.8k, with $111k coming from a series of heads-up tables played against Doug "WCGRider" Polk.

These matches ended at just past midnight, whereupon Lrs made his way up to the $100/$200 tables where he met Phil "RaiseOnce" Ivey. Shortly after, the pair were joined by Illari FIN and Dutch pro Ravenswood13, and around 20 minutes later Ivey, Lrs, and Ravenswood13 opened up another table.

Lrslzk was in control almost from the start, winning $80k in his first hour at the table, and taking another $100k during the second hour, with both RaiseOnce and Ravenswood13 the big losers (Ilari won $44k at the one table he played). Lrslzk also won the only six-figure pot of the match:

Ivey is a little unlucky in this AAxx vs KKx encounter with $50k in pre-flop Ivey shoves. Lrs has flopped a flush draw and a pair to go with his Kings so happily calls. The turn brings Lrs a second pair, enough to take this $118.2k pot

The biggest pots from yesterday's games, however, came from another match at the $200/$400 PLO tables between Isildur1 and cumicon.

This time Isildur1 was able to get the better of his recent PLO nemesis, winning $79k from 612 hands played, although cumicon won the day's biggest pot:

Isildur1 is in bad shape as all the money goes in pre-flop. He picks up a glimmer of hope as a King hits the flop, but cumicon's AAxx prevail to take this $193.4k pot

Here is Isildur1's biggest pot from the match:

cumicon flops top set, with Isildur1 flopping top pair and a flush draw. The turn adds a wrap draw for Isildur1 and he raises all in, needing to improve on the river. He hits a straight on the river and collects this $150.6k pot.

Isildur1 also had a good day at the 2-7 Triple Draw tables, winning a combined $142k from RaulGonzales, but losing around $20k to joiso.

Our tracked figures have Isildur1 as yesterday's biggest winner with a profit of $201k. However, be aware that we won't be tracking HORSE games until Nov 1 and it would appear that Isildur1 probably lost a lot (but not all) of his daily profits in those games against joiso yesterday.

Trueteller was the third biggest winner yesterday, behind Isildur1 and Lrslzk, with a $79.1k win after another huge game against Phil "RaiseOnce" Ivey at the 8-Game tables.

Yesterday's Biggest Winners

Isildur1 +$201k

Lrslzk +$118.8k

Trueteller +$79.1k

kardioloq +$24.3k
