Isildur1 Hits New Heights After $412k Triple Draw Win

Isildur1 once again brushed aside any concerns of a downswing after Thursday's loss with a huge win yesterday at PokerStars 2-7 Triple Draw tables

After his first six-figure loss in some time on Thursday, Viktor "Isildur1" Blom didn't take long to get back on the winning track as he made a big $412k score at PokerStars $1k/$2k 2-7 Triple Draw tables yesterday.

Isildur1's first match of the day was played heads-up against US pro Cort "thecortster" Kibler-Melby. They met in the early morning, playing for three hours. The first half of the match was even, with neither player gaining much more than a $30k lead at any time. However, the last half of the match belonged to Isildur1 who cruised to a win of $247.2k in 521 hands played.

Just ten minutes later at he was involved in another long heads-up Triple Draw match, this time against German pro RaulGonzales. This turned out to be an even longer match, lasing over 1k hands, and running for almost six hours up until the early afternoon.

As with his previous match against thecortster, the first half of the encounter was fairly even, with neither player making much headway, while the second half was dominated by Isildur1 who ended the match with a $165k profit.

Isildur1's $412k win puts him up over $4.4m since late August as his upswing show's no sign of abaiting just yet.

There were no other six-figure winners yesterday, with second place on the daily leaderboard going to Ravenswood13 who was way behind with a $34.1k profit, taken from the $300/$600 FLO8 tables.
