New Interview With Jennifer Harman Online

Jennifer Harman is widely regarded as one of the all-time best femal poker players, and is the only member of the fairer sex to have been a regular winner in the high stakes Las Vegas cash games at the Bellagio and Aria over the past 10-15 years. She also has 2 WSOP bracelets to her name, was previously a founder member of "Team Full Tilt", and has been nominated once again (4 years straight) for the Poker Hall of Fame this year.

Jen was recently interviewed by Cardschat.com and asked a some questions about her life both on and off the poker table.

When asked about her preference of cash games to tournaments Harman noted that despite enjoying tournaments, that having twin 8 year old children makes the travelling that goes with following the tournament calendar not something she would be able to focus on. With local high stakes cash games she is able to combine being a mom and a winning poker player - although even that can be tough, noting, "I’ll get a text from the Bellagio or Aria that they are starting a game. Well, guess what? I’m at a soccer game or we have a dentist appointment or I’m picking up the kids from school."

Harman is also asked about her philanthropic work for both Nevada Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (NSPCA), which includes the annual Jennifer Harman Celebrity Poker Tournament, an event which has raised over $1m in the last 8 years, as well as the Creating Organ Donation Awareness organisation she founded after having two kidney transplants.

She also gives her take on the "young guns" vs "old pros" poker debate, stating that,"I think the young guns are going to be tough to beat, but you never know."
