Cort "thecortster" Kibler-Melby Wins $103k From Isildur1

It was a tough day at the tables for Isildur1 yesterday as he logged a big loss at PokerStars against thecortster

Just a few days ago Viktor "Isildur1" Blom posted his first six-figure online win in quite some time. Yesterday, however, he handed it all back as US pro Cort "thecortster" Kibler-Melby took $103.4k from the Swedish superstar in just 86 hands at PokerStars $1k/$2k 2-7 Triple Draw tables.

The pair met at 10am server time yesterday and played for just 40 minutes. There's not too much to say about the match as apart from a mior comeback from Blom when he was already down c.$60k, it was all one way traffic, and after he'd dropped his relatively freshly minted bankroll, Isildur1 was out of there.

It was a bad day all round for Isildur1, who also lost over $30k playing $25/$50 PLO over at Full Tilt. So far today things look to be picking up for the former Full Tilt pro as he is currently up $34k (again at $25/$50 PLO) at FT, and is up $5.5k at Stars $200/$400 2-7 TD tables. It remains to be seen whether he will be able to run this roll up a little higher.

Kibler-Melby ended the day with a $107.4k profit after adding a few more thousand to the money he won from Isildur1 in some later TD games at lower limits.

The biggest winner at Full Tilt yesterday was Dutch pro Carlooo13, who won $15.8k in the $25/$50 PLO games.
