Isildur1 Slips Again On Big day of Action

Ben86 ended a volatile session against Isildur1 at PokerStars PLO tables with a hefty $354k win last night

After a near $600k upswing over the past few days, Viktor "Isildur1" Blom's bankroll took a big hit again yesterday as he dropped over $700k between Full Tilt and PokerStars.

His biggest loss came from some evening sessions of $200/$400 PLO against Ben "Ben86" Tollerene, leaving Tollerene the day's biggest winner.

The pair played for 4.5 hours in what turned out to be a hugely swingy match. Ben86 had a fantastic start, acumulatng a $270k lead in just 50 minutes over three tables. However, Isildur1 was to make a great comeback, and just prior to their first change of tables at the one hour mark, he won back around $100k. Over the next hour and a half, Isildur1 continued his upswing, and by the time the second change of tables took place, he had taken a $140k lead in the match.

The final change of tables spelt the end of Isildur1's good fortune, however, and in the last 1hr 45mins Ben86 hit a huge $425k heater as he racked up table scores of $107.1k, $53.2k, and $256.6k to leave the match up $351k.

Things weren't any better for Isildur1 over at Full Tilt where he suffered another big loss, mainly in a heads-up up 8-Game match against Phil "Polarizing" Ivey. The pair played for over 3 hours at table Coventry starting late yesterday afternoon, where Ivey ended up winning $256.3k. Ivey bookended his big win with a couple of medium sized 8-Game losses, but still ended the day with a $159.5k profit. This win puts Ivey up over $1/2m across Full Tilt and PokerStars so far this month.

The biggest winner at Full Tilt yesterday was Alexander "PostflopAction" Kostritsyn who won $172.3k from a two hour morning session at 8-Game table Culley, where he played against Trueteller, Isildur1, Jean-Robert Bellande, and punting-peddler. The session was also a success for Trueteller, who ended the session up $102k.
