Patrik Antonius Looking Forward to Play the Big WSOP Cash Games

In a new interview with Pokernews from EPT Monte Carlo, Patrik Antonius says he is looking forward the upcoming World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.

However, Antonius reveals that he is not really planning to play many WSOP tournaments this year. It is the cash games that gets him excited.

"If you look at my last four years, I have not really played any tournaments at the WSOP. It's more of a cash game thing for me, and it looks like it will be the same this year.", Antonius says.

According to Antonius, last year there were as high as $4,000 / $8,000 Limit 8-Game running during the WSOP, but this year he hopes there will be some big Pot-Limit Omaha and No-Limit Hold'em games:

"Mixed games have not been so good, I have not had such good results with them in recent years and I find them a little boring. I like to play big bet games where you can make big decisions."

The 2015 World Series of Poker will be held from May 27-July 14 at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino and there will be a total of 68 bracelet events, culminating in the $10,000 No Limit Hold'em Main Event, which will begin on July 5.
