thecortster Up $1/4m In Two Days
thecortster enjoyed his second successive six figure Triple Draw win yesterday at Full Tilt
For the past two days Cort "thecortster" Kibler-Melby has been the only player to make a six figure profit at the nosebleed tables. He topped the daily leaderboard again yesterday with a $109k win at 2-7 Triple Draw after his $135k on Monday.
Once again his victim in these heads-up sessions was Full Tilt Pro, Viktor "Isildur1" Blom.
The pair played at the $1k/$2k stakes for just under an hour just after midday, switching tables halfway through the session, with thecortster walking away a winner from both tables. He won $60k from the first table, and a further $49k from the second, from a total of 167 hands.
There were no other big winners yesterday, with Denoking coming second on the highstakes leaderboard after a $57.9k win from a three table session of $100/$200 NLHE against timekpr. Denoking also took down the biggest pot of the day during this hour long mid-afternoon confrontation:
After getting into a minor raising war with air after the flop, Denoking hits a fortunate inside straight draw on the turn and is able to get a call after a huge overbet on the river to take this $96.1k pot
Despite his six figure loss to thecortster, Isildur1 ended the day slightly up as he had enjoyed an $80k morning win at $50/$100 PLO playing against Schoitl, bemyguestbud, and Follow The Hawk, and also had some late night success at the Triple Draw tables against Cole South. He ended the day up $25k, but ended up losing around $10k to South overall as he lost a $51k post-midnight session of $500/$1000 2-7 TD.
