Hansen Hits Back With $330.8k Win
Gus Hansen Recouped some lost ground with a $331k win at the Triple Draw tables yesterday
After two great days, followed by two miserable days, Gus Hansen was back on top yesterday with a $330.8k win after some successful morning sessions at the 2-7 TD tables.
Hansen won close to $300k of his daily profits from two early morning sessions of $2k/$4k where he faced off against trex313, Polarizing, Osama_no_Brunch, Crazy Elior, __FullFlush1__, and Trueteller.
During the first of his two morning sessions, Hansen won $211k from a 1hr 10min session at table Upper, and in the second at table Hunt he won a further $83k in 39 hands played over 31 minutes.
Hansen played in a few of the mixed games, breaking more or less even across four sessions, with the remainder of his winnings coming from more 2-7 Triple Draw games played during some late evening sessions.
Hansen wasn't the only +$300k winner yesterday, as Patrik "FinddaGrind" Antonius ended the day up $304.3k. Most of Antonius winnings came from the mixed game tables, where he enjoyed wins of $90.7k, $114.2k, and $111.7k, playing against the likes of Crazy Elior, punting-peddler, Polarizing, Gus Hansen, Alexonmoon, hotmark777, and PostflopAction.
The remainder of Antonius winnings came from a half hour session of $500/$1000 CAP PLO where he played with POKERBLUFFS, Polarizing, Bttech86, Ingenious89, and no_Ola.
There were no other six figure winners yesterday, with the next biggest winner being thecortster, who made his money from a $100.7k heads-up win at a $1500/$3000 2-7 TD table playing Luke "__FullFlush1__" Schwartz. Schwartz avoided a big loss for the day, having already won a substantial sum at the $1500/$3000 8-Game tables. After other small losses were taken into account, thecortster ended his day's play with an $88.2k win.
