MauriceSch Wins WCOOP event #23, $10,300 High Roller NLHE.
The World Championship of Online Poker 2013 is rapidly approaching the halfway point. Already 27 bracelets have been awarded and there are still 39 bracelets up for grabs.
Yesterday big prizes were awarded especially in the $10,300 buy-in 8-max NLHE event that attracted 276 best players from all around the world.
Players like Sam "tr1cky7" Trickett (33rd, $17,135), Faraz "The-Toilet 0" Jaka (26th, $20,115) and Greg "gregy20723" Merson (12th, $59,600) all reached the money, but it was eventually "MauriceSch" from Germany, who managed to take down the bracelet and over $533,000.

Russian players have so far won the most titles (9 bracelets), while canadian players have cashed the most, almost $3 million.
Phil Ivey To Crockfords: I Read The Cards, But I Didn't Cheat
New information has emerged regarding the legal battle between Phil Ivey and Crockfords.
According to the DailyMail UK, Ivey openly admits to being an "advantage player". He also admits that him and his associate, "Kelly", were reading the cards in order to gain an advantage.

Crockfords is arguing that this "edge sorting" is cheating, while Ivey thinks that the casino should have checked their cards better before using them.
