Jakub Michalak Wins 2013 ISPT, Duhamel leads after Day 1 of the GuangDong Ltd Asia Millions and more

The 2013 ISPT Main Event plays down to the winner.

The 2013 ISPT Main Event (€3,000 buy-in) has now played down to the winner with Jakub Michalak from Poland taking home the €436,000 first-place prize.

The final six players decided to make a deal, leaving €200,000 extra for the eventual winner, which Michalak ended up taking down.

In the final hand of the tournament, Xavier El Fassy's kings were no good against Michalak's A-7 offsuit, when the board ran A-J-3-4-A.

Over $4.4 million going to the GuangDong Ltd Asia Millions winner

The $130,000 buy-in GuangDong Ltd Asia Millions super high roller tournament attracted a total of 71 players plus 54 rebuys were made.

Today the remaining 51 players will play down to a final table. Only eight players get money and the eventual winner will walk away with over $4,4 million (see the complete payouts from below).

Jay “pr1nnyraid” Rosenkrantz in a new interview

We have not seen Jay “pr1nnyraid” Rosenkrantz  playing the high stakes online cash games for a long time now, and according to a new interview, that is because Rosenkrantz has spent nearly three years working on a movie called the "BET RAISE FOLD: The Story of Online Poker".

The movie is set to be released this summer, and in addition to Rosenkrantz himself, players like Tom Dwan, David Benefield, Cole South, Ben SulskyBrian Hastings and Andrew Robl have been backing the project.
